JEFF SMITH, PRESIDENT & CEO

Arkansas native and Cyrus Works CEO, Jeff Smith, is a successful, multigenerational business owner and entrepreneur. In addition to his role with Cyrus Works, Jeff serves as President of Smith Family Funeral Homes. Founded in 1955, Smith Family Funeral Homes has been owned and operated by the Smith family for three generations. Jeff co-owns the businesses with his wife, Leslie. Under their leadership, the funeral group has tripled in size and grown to six locations, serving more families in Central Arkansas than any other funeral home.

Jeff graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1998 and earned his MBA from the University of Memphis in 1999, where he graduated with honors.

CHRIS MEREDITH,
Chief Business Development Officer

Chris Meredith serves as Chief Business Development Officer for Cyrus Works. The skill, dedication, resourcefulness, and precision that he once honed in the military now serve him well in his role with Cyrus Works, helping him create lasting partnerships with clients.

A veteran of the funeral industry, Chris began his career with Nowell Family Funeral Homes and Insurance Company, Southern Security Life, which propelled him to become a National Sales Director and Vice President at Security National Life Insurance Company.  From there, Chris moved to Liberty Bankers Insurance Group where he served as National Vice President of American Benefit Life Insurance Company, Vice President of Business Development, and Senior Vice President of Pre-Need, helping the company grow in a variety of ways with each new role he accepted.  Where Chris goes, growth follows.

Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing

Bobby Pierce, Executive Vice President of Cyrus Life Insurance, brings over 30 years of expertise in the Pre-need and Insurance industry. Rising from Agent to Executive Vice President, Bobby has a proven track record of driving growth and innovation. He leads strategic initiatives that expand market reach and enhance services. Passionate about the funeral and insurance industry, Bobby mentors his team and fosters a culture of professional development.
